Your Mission: Elevate and inspire! Transition from a traditional classroom setting to the heart-pumping world of Emergency Medical Services (EMS). We're offering a unique opportunity to be trained as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) and return to the classroom to revolutionize Career and Technical Education (CTE) within New Orleans Charter Schools.
Our Story: Since 2017, GEMS has been a beacon of healthcare career education, providing high school students with certifications that launch careers or propel them toward advanced degrees. Our ranks are filled with seasoned EMTs, firefighters, and paramedics. Now, we seek a trailblazing teacher ready for a 'total remodel'.
Your Launchpad: An accelerated EMT program, completely financed by us, equipping you with cutting-edge skills to lead CTE instruction in New Orleans.
Your Impact: As a full-time GEMS educator, you'll guide students through the exhilarating realm of EMS and healthcare careers. Full-time role with a generous salary range of $60,000 - $70,000.
